I am so glad that I called these guys to do my move. They were on time and efficient and Omar is an absolute delight. Everybody worked together to make sure that my move went without a snag. I'm really grateful. It was a really tough move ...downstairs and upstairs with big cumbersome items and tons of boxes. But they managed to make it all happen with no problems! These guys are absolute professionals and I would totally call them again!

I had a wonderful experience with Movers 49, starting with the first interaction obtaining a quote via Yelp. I realized the confirmation date was wrong a few days before the move, so I sent a message via Yelp, and quickly received a call correcting the date - PHEW! The movers were a tad late, however, they called in advance to let me know they were on their way and dealing with some traffic - which was appreciated. They were efficient, careful, professional, and friendly. Even though I only had a few items to move, the stress and worry of making sure everything was in order at the old & new place was building up, so I am so happy (and relieved) I chose to hire Movers 49. Movers 49 was excellent from the moment of the first call to schedule my move through the move itself. Communicated throughout the week to confirm the move. I can't say enough about Aleksei and Dmitry! On time, professional, efficient, and very careful with my furniture. Very nice guys as well! I would not hesitate to us this company again!

I don't think I've ever been so compelled to leave such a glowing review or rate a business with 5 star service before my experience with Movers 49. In particular it was two very special employees, Dimitri and Serge, that were scheduled to assist with moving my mother to a new apartment. They were promptly on time for the move, and couldn't have been anymore professional, careful & quick with the job. As my Mom had been in the home for many years it was no easy feat!! They removed all furniture from her existing apartment with not so much of a single scratch & set it all up in her new place just the way she wanted it :) I was so pleased with the experience I made a special request of their services the next day for both a trip to the Salvation Army & Marin Sanitation Center. They were knowledgeable, professional and helped me through a couple of very stressful days. If you have an upcoming move planned & are considering the right moving company please call Movers 49 and if you're smart you'll ask for Dimitri and Serge!!

took 6 hours to move a studio apartment worth of stuff to an apartment nearby, which made the final cost over $500. the movers were nice, but not particularly careful or fast. some of my furniture scraped walls on the way up, leaving white paint marks. they did wrap some items with blankets and plastic wrap, but all-in-all, I would not recommend.
