I decided to use PODS to store all of my belongings until my husband received a new duty station in the Navy. Our initial experience with PODS was great. They were cooperative, helpful, and convenient. PODS assured us that our stuff would be stored in a climate controlled environment until we needed it. One year later, we were assigned a new location. Speaking with the call center started off well. We told them the location and time we needed it delivered. The specialist said they accommodate all time requests for delivery. My husband found out he was being sent to training and I had called back to set up a new time for delivery. The specialist I spoke with this time said no time can be guaranteed on any order. If that's the case then why was I told differently the first time I called? Why are not all associates on the same page with information? Why is PODS not is convenient as they appear to be? My husband, who is busy with military training, called and they escalated his call and we were told we would receive immediate follow up to resolve our issue. Absolutely no one followed up with us. Moving in the military is hard enough on families and I feel like PODS made it twice as complicated. I feel like they say what you want to get you to move with them, but when it matters they drop the ball. I also do not think the POD is climate controlled. If it was, why were all my things covered in moisture and mold? I've washed stuff multiple times and no luck in getting the smell out. I was disappointed in how poorly military families were treated. Next time, I think I'll just move myself and not count on PODS to help.

I will absolutely use them again. Super easy to reserve on their website with the ability to change delivery dates, reasonable prices, set up the location of the POD on your driveway or street, and they showed up on time both times. Chris was the guy who delivered the POD and picked up. He was super nice, professional, and did awesome work and took care not to tear up my lawn. Will definitely use these guys again.
