DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Tell your family and friends as well. Here is my experience moving from Bham to ATL (you cannot make this stuff up). I have moved over 20 times and they are the worst movers I've ever used. 1) They brought the wrong sized truck so many items were left and had to be brought later. Some of which never came at all. 2) They significantly damaged a number of items including my grand piano. I spent $500 to fix the piano and they refused to reimburse me. 3) They lost items. They actually left them on the truck. After 3 emails and 3 phone calls and 2 weeks later they "found" them under some blankets on the truck. This was only after I demanded reimbursement for the missing items. 4) Worst of all, during the move the "lead guy" made inappropriate comments to my 15 year old daughter on 3 different occasions to the point where she felt uncomfortable and went out of her way to avoid him. The lead guy did this. I have now gotten an attorney involved. They are a disgrace. Use anyone but them. Feel free to private message me if you want any more details.

We used Road Runner to move us from our apartment and storage unit to our new home. At first we were pleased with the service we experienced; but then after having an heirloom marble table top broken in half and a hope chest broken our customer service went down considerably. The move itself was fine and the movers were forthcoming on the pieces they broke. At first the company was most helpful in trying to repair our items and in fact, the hope chest was taken care of. I highly recommend Lawson's Furniture Repair. It was the mable table top that caused the problem. April, the office manager, offered to fix it or replace it. We figured fixing it would be easiest. She and Daniel, the operations manager came to get the table top. It was a clean break and should have been easy to fix. According to them, they had experienced marble people to fix it, the break/seam which was hardly visible when holding it together would be that way when it was repaired. That was ok with us. After a COUPLE of months, we got the table top back. We were horrified to see that the once nearly invisible break was now a wide WHITE seam on grey marble. It looked like someone took white bathtub calking and put it back together. Our table is now an eye sore rather than the beautiful heirloom piece it had been. I tried for several months to resolve this issue. April told me to get an estimate on the marble to replace the piece, which I did. I sent her the quote and never heard from her again. I tried following up and she became increasingly rude with each call. I asked to speak to the owner and was never put through, though I left several messages, I even wrote a letter to Steve Young, the "person in charge", but again, never heard back. In the letter, I explained my situation and said I would post this review and still no answer, so BEWARE if using Road Runner Moving. All will be well if there are no broken pieces, but if there are, good luck.
