No! Run! They are awful! They left without packing all our furniture. Everything they say they do on their website, they did not. The truck broke down in the rain, so it leaked and our furniture was damaged. They have offered no solution to help us, it's been 5 days. The movers actually refused to speak to me and when they did they argued with me. We found them on Groupon, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM.
This review is on behalf of David K: The movers arrived promptly and were very well organized. They explained all of the expenses involved with the move before starting the clock. The movers were very careful while loading and unloading our household goods. They were hard working and thanks to them our move went smoothly. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
I have used this moving company twice now and have had the best experiences. They have always been very communicative through the booking process, professional, punctual and super fast. This most recent move I used them for Jason, Maiko and someone in training named Louis( I think) were super fast and made the moving process very pleasant. Definitely recommend and prices are more than decent and affordable. I will definitely use again in the future.
We were scheduled to move this last Saturday between 1-6pm and they didn't show until 8:30pm. My husband and I are very reasonable people and understand that you can't control certain things but after calling several times and being told they were "on their way" we hit a boiling point. I tried to reach a manager several times and when I finally got him on the phone all he cared about was if I was going to leave them a bad review. When the moving crew finally showed up my husband loaded and unloaded half of the items by himself onto the truck. They broke a leg off of one of our dressers and also poked a hole in my leather couch. They were supposed to discount us because of everything that happened and now the Tampa office manager will not call us back. Moving is stressful enough and so I seriously recommend you steer clear of this company. I have used other moving companies and had no issues at all so I know this is not the norm. Just say "No" to Skinny Wimp Moving Co.
As of right now I'm only giving one star, which is unfortunate considering when I moved with this company in January I was HIGHLY satisfied with the customer service and speediness of the company. They did a great job of moving my stuff to two different locations and were so friendly. However, I am currently waiting at my storage unit and have been for the past hour and twenty minutes. Movers were supposed to show up at 9. I called at 9:15 and was told the movers would contact me shortly. At 9:40 I finally received a call that they were going to be here around 10. It's currently 10:20 and I'm still waiting. If nothing else a little communication would be nice. I'm 37 weeks pregnant, sick, and have things I need to be doing other than sitting around waiting for movers to show up over an hour late. I will most definitely update this when(if) they show up. Update: they showed up around 10:30 and are extremely nice and apologetic.
