Just an update: I was contacted for follow up by a customer service representative who wanted to know how the in town move went. I explained everything to her and she advised that she is sending the information to management and also claims department. I'll advise how this turns out once I have a result.

I would like to say that my husband and I recently completed a move across town. We booked with Two Men and a Truck on relatively short notice and they were able to accommodate us for a Saturday move. We had an estimator come to give us an in home quote and he estimated that we would need two trucks and 4 guys and that the job would take about 9 hours. I must say that I doubted that we would need that much space and the time. We had four courteous and very professional guys show up on time to help us move. They worked diligently from the time they rung the doorbell upon pickup. Lou, Noah, Tony, and Kilgore were awesome and I can't thank them enough for handling our things with care and even taking the time to answer our kids questions and making sure their things were placed in their new room according to their request! The job took 9.5 hours and we used every bet of those two trucks! So, despite the other reviews I can say that my experience with Two Men and a Truck was great!

The two men we had LOST a few of our boxes and gave us a couple of someone else's boxes! Do not use this company.

Just saying...My past experience with Joe and his staff have been good. Joe is a awesome guy and stands for true professionalism...but this is my complaint with their quote system... I have recently moved back to Atlanta and I needed a moving company that I thought would have a reasonable rate for my move....I called Two Men and a Truck in Huntsville- twice ( one time in February and one time this month) . I wanted to give Joe my business due to the fact that he had been so helpful to me in the past! I spoke with 2 very nice young ladies ( one was new to her job but very nice) ..The two quotes I received were higher than when I moved from Atlanta ( 3400 sf home) to a storage unit in 02/2016 which cost me $2300 from another Two Men and Truck franchise in Atlanta..In fact I had 4 guys helping in the move back to Huntsville. I have sold about all my furniture/ appliances/ outdoor furniture and I have less than a 1/4 of what I had when I first moved from Atlanta last year! My first quote to move me back to Atlanta ( ground level apartment ) from my storage unit in Madison was for about $2400...The second quote was about $2000.. I only have a sofa, one bedroom set ( queen size) , another bed with box springs/ mattress ( queen size) , 2 end tables, one coffee table, 3 wicker arm chairs, one bench, small dresser, less than 35 small boxes...I have no appliances , no dining room furniture, no outdoor furniture, no tools, etc. I asked each young lady the reason for such a high quote...she said it was due to "crossing the state line"! Well I moved across state lines back in 02/2016 with an entire house full of furniture for only $2300 ( I still have all the paperwork from that move! ) Oh well...needless to say will have to move myself and what few items I have left back to Atlanta- by myself !

Overall unsatisfied! Arrived within window that was given to me. Courteous staff both in office and on job. However, two things I took two stars off for are 1) I called to receive a courtesy call since I had a two hour window. I was told I would receive one but I did not...they just arrived but thankfully we were there. 2) We were the second job of the day so they were slower than I anticipated. We were from out of town so we only needed to unload a moving truck into storage. It took 4 hours. The guys who unloaded our house had everything out of our house and in the truck in 3 hours...even with stairs. The guys were young and needed supervision to get the job rolling and not be so slow. I'd suggest being first job of the day.
