I Wish you had a minus star to rate the service I received yesterday. First my appointment was for 9 am-11am . They called to say the driver was running a hour late , he shows up at 10:30. Devon -lead bellhop was great . Second bellhop was slow on his cell phone and announced 10 minutes into the move he is leaving. Now we waited for a replacement bellhop guy . Waited another 2 1/2 hrs. Finally Anthony comes and was great . They moved my stuff but not what I needed to into the dumpster. Now I have to figure how to move that out . So they wanted to charge me $470 dollars for that feasco of a move that ended at 3:15 pm . During the move I had to call because the company never reached out to keep me informed of what was happening. UNPROFESSIONAL, Terrible customer service and not reliable! They called me at 9:17 pm to discuss the bill . They wanted to now charge me $270 . I said after this horrible move you're still charging me move then the original quote of $218?!!!??? Well to say the least that is unacceptable and I am going to need to speak with someone other than you. They called this morning with $218 absolutely not . Not after that unbelievable experience. Finally we agreed on a sum . Word to the wise use another company for your move. I do want to say both Devon and Anthony the bell hops were great and professional. They should leave and go work for another moving service because that company is the worst NEGATIVE STARS To Luke F. @ Support@gobellhops.com Yes my moving experience was The Absolute Worst moving experience Ever. Because I couldn't get any more help when I asked for it I can't see how you can help me further . It cost me additional monies renting a UHaul pick up truck ($45 )and paid ($40)a guy to move the remainder objects( 3 chairs , ottoman ,microwave and other bags out to the trash because your company didn't have the time during the move . That was because the bellhops had to leave again early and hadn't packed the truck properly to leave room for the additional items I needed moved out. I had informed them of the additional items at the start.Time was an additional factor because I needed to get to my sofa delivery before 2pm at the new place . It should not have been even a time issue had we started at 9 am as booked . #NegativeStars

Great personnel; SHADY company: AVOID!!!!!!! I came across a GROUPON for these movers and decided to use them. The GROUPON was for 2 hours of service and the company stated that if it was less than 2 hours, I would be refunded the difference. The movers arrived on time (local move-less than 2 miles). The entire move was completed in 90 minutes. The people Bellhops sent could not have been better. No complaints there. I tipped them at the new location and they were gone in less than 90 minutes. The problem came when the company sent an email stating they were charging an additional $217. Plus a $35 tip fee, which they said would go directly to the movers. I replied that I tipped them myself and that the move was completed in less than 2 hours. I then received an email saying they had decided to proceed with the charge and it was (maybe?) because they added an additional person to the team. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! Any company that is this shady should be avoided by all! I will be taking it up with my credit card company.

I was so incredibly disappointed in the service I received from Bellhops. If I could leave them ZERO STARS I would! The two bellhops they sent were completely incapable and had NO IDEA WHAT THEY WERE DOING. They caused damage to multiple pieces of furniture, scratched my front door and door frame by banging furniture into it, there were chunks missing from my mattress that I found in the hallway because they dragged my mattress across the floor and the list goes on. They struggled to lift the furniture, and were not able to effectively use the dolly and hand cart I provided them with. After two hours they had unloaded less than half of the 16' moving truck, I was able to do more in one hour with my 60 year old parents than they were able to in the two hours they were here. After calling to file a complaint and try to get reimbursed I was told I would need to fill out a claims form which I was then never sent! This company scammed me out of my money and I feel extremely cheated. Literally any other company would be better than them, one of the worst most stressful moves of my life because of Bellhops.

Bellhops Kevin Perkins and Michael Villatoro were a welcome sight after a two day drive to Jacksonville to move my daughter and her fiancé so she could start PT school at UNF. They were courteous, careful with all of the furniture and belongings, assembled the bed, tables and other furniture and truly made the moving in process so much more pleasant. Full disclosure: the bellhops movers themselves did not move me, a third party had to be used. This review is about my experience with bellhops and the third party company used. After reading all the phenomenal reviews I decided to go with bellhops for my move. Just as a reference, we moved primarily large pieces of furniture. Although our move was not perfect, the level of customer service provided went far and above my expectations. A couple days prior to the move there was a mixup and the bellhops team was unable to drive the truck. Instead of leaving me out to dry, they coordinated a third party moving company through bellhops. The experience with the third party moving company was not pleasant. Unfortunately, a couple pieces were damaged and the movers were just not great. Luckily, bellhops took full responsibility since I purchased insurance through them. They apologized profusely and compensated us for all damage. Bottom line, I felt bellhops went above and beyond the role of a moving company to ensue we were taken care of. They truly provide great customer support. Moving is very stressful and working with bellhops was a terrific experience. I highly recommend them.
