I am thankful that I posted my earlier review as the owner's response was the first opportunity we had to hear his point of view. It was unfortunate that he would not come look at our damaged items, would not accept photos of the damage although he initially asked for photos and would not return our calls. I have no interest in continuing the conversation as the final move took place months ago. Had the owner been willing to talk with us, we could have cleared up his misconceptions such as his concern that our items were stored in an uncontrolled third party garage. The items were stored in the full basement and garage of our lake home. We emptied our basement and garage and the movers asked to pack the rooms tightly so we would not get to items because they were packed with no room to walk through, which was fine. Thus, no one disturbed or damaged the items while stored. Additionally, my husband did move some items in our own trailer and used the tie downs. None of these items were on our damage list because all items in the trailer were sold the following weekend at our yard sale. Finally, the movers showed me one damaged item while they were packing and it was damaged prior to this company coming. This item did not appear on my damage list. Last, in my prior move, I had little damage from the movers and did not file a claim. Just want anyone shopping to be aware of our experience. I am glad to hear the owner say that others do not have significant damage. Best wishes to anyone making a move as it is stressful and unfortunately, for us, this company added a great deal of stress.
