Highly unsatisfied. They were a no call, no show. I packed up my entire place, including all my kitchen items and bedding, only to be left scrambling at the last minute to find a different moving company, with no one available until the following day. Once the two hour window of theoretical arrival passed, I called several times to find out what was going, I would have been forgiving if an earlier scheduled move was taking longer than expected, these things happen, but no one answered the phone and I never even received a curtesy call back.

Very disappointed in how I was treated. Gave me a flat rate for my 1 bedroom apartment, telling me if I had extra items then what's listed it was no big deal very laid back to get my business. Called me last minute to tell me they would be 2 hrs late knowing I was closing on my house the same day. Showed up only to raise the price by $400. Walking away and leaving me hanging with no back up until I begged them to come back. Showed up with 1 helper not 2 as they said. Made me drive to the bank for a cashiers check in full when advertisement said credit excepted and initial set up was just a percentage. Delivery to new home was 4 hours late and only took 25 minutes to unload proving I did not have more then s 1 bedroom. Not a trustworthy company.

We used Florida Movers R Us for a move 2 years ago and were blown away. They were really fantastic and we recommended them to friends happily. Two years later when we went to move again, we decided to use them again (and requested John to lead the team because he was so great last time). We did not get John, and we did not get nearly as good of an experience as last time. I will say that nothing was broken (though we are missing one box of kitchen items...no idea where that is) and all three of the movers were very nice and friendly, but the owner is a real jerk. They were admittedly slower than I would have expected, so our move took a lot longer than we thought it would (and was therefore a lot more expensive than I thought). They were leaving our old apartment at the same time as me, and I gave them detailed instructions on how to avoid a road closure around our new house. Fast forward an hour...I was at our new house (about a 20-25 minute drive from the old apartment) for 45 minutes before they arrived. They called their boss (the owner) when my husband called to ask where they were and the owner called my husband SCREAMING at him. What a horrible way to treat customers, especially when we treated them with nothing but kindness, respect, and appreciation for their hard work. They also claim to accept credit cards but then charge a 3% fee and don't accept personal checks (they don't tell you until they show up, so that's not very helpful because who has time to go get hundreds of dollars in cash in the middle of a move). Worst of all, our friends decided to use them after we did and they had a confirmed move time and the movers never showed up, never called, didn't answer the phones, and our friends never heard from them again. This company has gone significantly downhill and I would NOT recommend them. Unfortunate for them because we have 5 friends moving in the coming months, and all were eager to use Florida Movers R Us if we had a good experience like last time. Nope, never again.

Complete no-show for scheduled move, even after calling to confirm the appointment the night before. Never showed up and would not answer the phone or return voicemails or emails. We had to reschedule our move with a different company. Completely mystified, never had such a bizarre experience with a supposedly professional company.

This moving company was great. We have used multiple moving companies in the past and this company by far was the best we have used to date. They were very upfront with pricing, very reasonable rates, and very friendly capable movers. They worked very hard straight through the move with little or no breaks. Everything was covered with moving blankets and handed with extreme care when they moved things. Nothing was damaged or scratched which was great. They had nice new equipment and seemed like they had been doing this for awhile. They new what they were doing. Overall me and my wife were extremely satisfied with the service and the movers friendly attitude. We would highlight recommend this company and would give 6 stars if possible.
