Looks like I've had the same experience many others have had -- ordered a dishwasher from Home Depot, Ralph's said it was "against company policy" to install although it was unclear what the problem was. It was such a simple installation that my husband wound up doing it himself. Four days of no-shows later, I'm still waiting for Ralph's to pick up the old one. Every day, they assure me/guarantee that they'll be there the next day. Of course, Home Depot had me pre-pay everything. Good luck getting that pickup fee back.
11-23-2018 Requested delivery on a pallet, because they will be in storage in our warehouse. The delivery service agreed (all 4 people I spoke to) they could do this. Spoke with Luis 2 times and he said yes they will be on a pallet. The appliances arrived loose not on a pallet. Called and spoke to the manager (Terrance) and he said basically he could not guarantee anything. He acted like he was doing me a favor to deliver to me. I told him I would call Home Depot and he didn't seem to care. If you deal with Home Depot in the central florida area request another delivery service. Ralph's is not very good. Home Update: Home Depot contacted Terrance the manager of Ralph's Transfer Company and he told the Home Depot employee they might get a pallet in the next 30 days and if they did they would call to reschedule. If they didn't get one in 30 days they would send the appliances back to Maytag... What a joke this delivery company is!
Delivery team came to my home late Saturday evening to install a full kitchen set of appliances after being on back ordered more than a month. The 1st thing they did was refused to install the dishwasher then stated the dishwasher they had on the truck was damaged when I told them to bring it inside and started to call around to get someone to install the dishwasher. I never actually saw the dishwasher and wonder if the even had it on the truck. Sunday morning I awoke to find that the waterline connector behind the refrigerator was broken when they installed the waterline and leaked all night causing water damaged to my flooring, refrigerator surround cabinet and attached cabinets. Also I discovered the stove was not properly installed and pushed back against the wall. Due the 5 inch gap between the wall and the stove the touch screen is difficult to use since when pushed the screen moves backwards anddoes not support against the wall as designed. The stove has a double oven and is very heavy. I am unable to push the stove into place as it should have been by the delivery team. I paid for the old dishwasher to be removed and this was not completed by the delivery team. I spent my entire Sunday cleaning up water damage and calling plumbers to repair the damaged waterline connector. I will never purchase any large items from Home Depot again.
We had two deliveries by the same crew this December. Super Don and Daniel were both very accommodating and pleasant. They called ahead of time as we requested, and they arrived at the promised time with our merchandise in good condition.
Ordered a washer and dryer to be delivered Saturday. Received a confirmation call Friday, my husband waited all day Saturday. No call no show. Limited hours and no response as to where our lost items are. Even Home Depot admits they are a garbage company and they are looking to find another delivery company.
