After about 6 months, my son (USAF) finally settled with them for a fraction of the price it took to replace all the lost and damaged items. I had to talk him into something-was-better-than-nothing. Military members stay away from this company!!!! They do not respect nor like military personnel. I was an E-6 in the Navy and don't want any more of my brothers and sisters to be taken advantage of. If this is your only choice, then get a U-Haul and do it yourself. If you want to save time, go ahead and get a baseball bat and destroy all your personal items ; you'll be in the same place as using this company to "move" your stuff. If you see any 5-star reviews, don't be fooled, it is their staff or staff's friends trying to counteract their poor ratings.

Reads Moving Systems recently packed and shipped our household goods to the U.K. They were very professional and handled all of our property carefully and safely. The two-day process (packing and loading) was seamless. The packing was done by Gary Jr. and Johnny and the loading by Gary Sr. and Gary Jr. Everyone arrived early both days and got to work immediately. We had absolutely no issues with their work, timeliness, or the quality of their service. These gentlemen were focused solely on taking care of our household property which is rare in our experience because movers we have had in the past we're constantly taking calls during the packing and loading process. We have moved within the continental U.S. and overseas at least 15 times and Reads Moving Systems provided the best service we have ever experienced by far. I would highly recommend them to family members and anyone looking for high quality service in Florida! We will definitely seek them out on our return! A. Evans

If you are active military and this company is listed as your mover, contact the transportation office immediately to request a different company. This company, as in my case, sub-contracts moves to smaller companies that are not equipped nor prepared to move a household. In my case I had several items damaged, tools removed from boxes, family heirlooms stolen, and several larger items loaded unto the moving truck without being inventoried that never arrived at the destination. The claims process will be lengthy and do not expect to receive more than 60% of your claim. This company accepts theft as a common practice and will make no attempt to recover your stolen items or hold employees accountable. If you are stuck with this company ensure you take photos of all your belongings before the movers arrive. Do not let the movers out your site and ensure they mark the contents of each item in detail. Check each items as it loaded on the truck to ensure an inventory item is placed on each. In my case the movers walked away with several items to include a brand new shop-vac. These actions may seem extreme, but they are the only way to protect yourself from a company like this that values profit over quality service to our military. Avoid this company at all costs!

By far worst military move ever ! Zero stars! Driver named James Lesley, shows up on first day of three day job by himself - his help was not even allowed on base, did not pass background check. This after showing up over an hour and a half late. After contacting TMO and Read's moving services, we had no other choice but to allow the driver to start packing our items by himself. He did not use packing materials- he threw picture frames and valuable items, as well as sentimental items, in on top of one another;in between clothes and in between toys. Things as basic as crating a TV were an argument with him, this is done on every move and should always be done as a result of his not doing this, a brand-new 60 inch flat screen was destroyed. Nearly every item of furniture is damaged scratched or unusable. We have never had to file such an extensive claim with the consideration of suing the moving company because there are so many things destroyed !! So many pictures of broken items, but here is a great example of this drivers carelessness.

Movers were great but did damage a wine case. Took the stand and a claim was filed. Calls are not returned and we have been dealing with this for 3 months. Had to file a new claim through the military because it was a military move. Would not ever do business with this company again nor would I recommend to anyone. They are unresponsive and unprofessional. Military members move often with their families and it's always a stressful time. We don't need the added stress of damaged property and unreliable business.
