It was a great experience working with this company. From the quote through the delivery, every employee was respectful and good to work with. We did have a hiccup in that the truck that came to pick up our boxes did not have enough space for the entire house. They immediately rented a Penske truck in order to have everything out of the house that day. Rockie, the supervisor, was great to work with when communicating when the second truck will deliver our household goods. David, the initial driver, made me feel like family and was very professional. Other than not having the right amount of space in the first truck and having to wait a little for the second truck at the new location, I had no problems with this company. They gave me an APP quote which means if the under quoted me in weight I wouldn't be charged anything additional and if it was under the quote I would pay what the weight cost. Great company.

Wow! Not sure what happened with previous reviews for this company? Maybe we were just lucky. Our move went super easy and nothing was damaged. The movers were friendly, careful and very respectful of our things and moving from one place to another. Traci was there first to check off items with stickers and go over everything before two more men came to help. Aaron and Maurice took it from there. They drove from Palm Harbor Fl to Cornelius NC. Everything arrive in good shape! Unlike my first move to Florida by Dude Movers! We are renting for 6 months in Cornelius and plan to buy our permanent home in Huntersville. Both area's are beautiful. Can not wait to get settled but fear the next move I may not be soo lucky. Gonna try and do some research and hopefully will be blessed again. Thank you again Atlantic!

Have been trying to get a quote for nearly a week. Lee Tarbutton is the agent I was dealing with. Promised a call back in a couple of hours after sending item list. Never happened. Called back 5 days later, and was told I would get a quote within an hour. Never happened. Called 5 hours later, and was told Lee would call me RIGHT back. Guess what? Never happened. I guess they don't need the business, but this is one of the most unprofessional companies I have ever dealt with. Steer clear if you want anyone to help you at all, or if you are in a hurry to move.

Atlantic relocation is a horribly run company. I would recommend staying far away from this company and atlas van lines in general. The way thier team handled my recent move made our moving experience alot more difficult than necessary. Less than 48 hours before my scheduled delivery date I was called and told they decided to move all of my possessions onto another truck and they would be delivering two days after the date I was told. This included moving my boat that was on the truck and was put on the truck using an other flatbed truck( big process, lots of paper work signed saying I saw boat loaded ok). I was promised by the estimator, driver, and Packers that my truck and boat would not be repacked. I got a call from Gary Hoffman, the GM for atlantic relocation and was told that another delivery was added in order to make more money. GARY'S EXACT WORDS TO A CUSTOMER AFTER MY STUFF IS SEATING IN A WHAREHOUSE AND OUR CONTRACT WAS SIGNED "JUST TAKING YOUR TRUCK UP ISNT WORTH OUR TIME, WE WOULD JUST BREAK EVEN, WE HAVE TO THINK ABOUT OUR BOTTOM LINE". This is coming from the Vice President/ GM, nice way to talk to a customer. In other words, I was being inconvenienced for the almighty dollar. But Gary assured me that everything will be packed up nice and neat and that nothing would be broken or hurt. On the day of delivery, you could tell a lot of my stuff have been repacked quickly and was placed in other boxes that it wasn't originally packed in. Large boxes with no tracking #'s and loose items thrown all together. Several of my items are now broken or lost. Several high dollar items are all together missing. I wrote Gary Hoffman an email asking if any boxes got left at the wharehouse, no answer. And putting a claim in with atlas van lines has been slow and tiresome. This company, from the GM to the packers, doesn't care about customer service. They will not be recommended to anyone I know in the tampa area and I would advise you find another company for your move.
