I have had 5 major moves on my life with using movers to pack and move and this was my WORST experience ever. Her final bill was $1300 over her estimate. They had issues with getting rental trucks and a LATE start to packing and loading trucks. Many of furniture items were scratched and or damaged that had to be thrown out. I have drawers that no longer close properly. I received a whole $45 check for the damage that does not even come close to be able to repair or replace those items. 1 lamp that had to be thrown out cost over $150 from crate and barrel and I received $6 for the damage of not packing properly. The guys were a great group of guys meaning well.. but she should not offer packing up a house as one of her services. It Doubled the time quoted to us. And she basically held me hostage till I paid a tip to a guy that i never saw and she wanted me to pay all guys the same tip when I felt all did NOT do the same quality of work and a tip is a favor not something required if less than desirable service. Only use if you want to pay over your estimate and have damaged goods delivered.

Gloria is amazing! Fit me into schedule last minute ! Day of move she tracked drive team for me so I knew when to head to storage unit . Drivers loaded up truck in a timely fashion and off loaded as well , set me up and no issues at all! If you are moving I recommend 100%! Drivers polite and mindful too very respectful! I found myself needing help moving late on a Friday night/ early Saturday morning. I was frantic and many places I reached out to were unable to accommodate my request even though my move was neither large or far. When I reaching out to Mother & Son's I was pleased to find that not only were they able to help me in a time frame that worked for me (that same Saturday), but my help was greatly professional and personable. This is not your typical company, the ownership and staff is well run and they are quick at what they do. My whole move took probably an hour and a half and I am forever thankful that I found them. Gloria, you are highly recommended.

What could have been the worst move of my life was changed when Gloria and her team helped us so much/ Gloria personally came to my house and while the men were moving out furniture she asked my wife how she could help her as she saw we were stressed and trying to finish last minute packing and cleaning. She opened up our frig and started to help pack it then even wiped out the inside and cleaned it for us. Everyone was so nice and they took very good care of our furniture. All the help was great and friendly. They arrived a few minutes late but did get started right away. The communication throughout was great and clear.
