I have used Fam4You many times when buying furniture either from stores or Craig's List. Ray and Fam4You have always been extremely professional to deal with and extremely careful with my furniture and the interior of my house when moving the furniture in. They have been on time and my furniture has always been carefully wrapped and blanketed.

Fam4You moved a valuable glass top dining room table with built in extensions, and six leather chairs, for us on Oct. 30, 2012. I was more than nervous due to the fragile nature of the table, which I purchased used for far less than its original cost at Scan Design. I picked Fam4You because they gave me the only firm estimate that was under $200 for the set (I provided a full description and a photo) and the 50 minute trip (I provided addresses and zip codes for the from and to destinations). The guys were great. They shrink wrapped the glass top and then wrapped it in foam for transport. They had to remove the table top to get it in my house. They adjusted the top until the alignment with the extensions was perfect. They treated the items like their own. The seller told me the guys were happy to sign a statement that they were taking the set with no damage. I would not hesitate to use this company again, or to recommend them. They were on time and stuck to their bid.

Recently purchased a piece of gently used furniture and was looking for a mover to transport the sectional to my home. Saw the ad on Craigslist for this mover and it looked professional (lisc, Insured) and they promoted that they had flexible hours. I called and got a quote and described the piece of furniture exactly as it is, gave the the start and end address and explained how many miles it was also. The gave me a price quote that was within my budget and I booked the appointment. Also per their request I sent them a txt message with the begin and end address, immediately after. The txt message came back as returned so I txted it again to the other number listed on their ad and it showed received, I also called back immediately and explained that the first number was txt'd but was not able to be processed and instead I sent it to the second number listed on the ad. They confirmed that the address's were received and the appointment time was scheduled. 2 days go by and the secretary called again to confirm the appointment for the next day including both address's, I also verified the price and confirmed that I would meet them at the location. 3 more hours go by and I receive a text message stating that the price is now double what was quoted (this was after 6pm on a Friday when pickup was scheduled for Saturday afternoon). I explained that they had the info for the past 2 days and also that the pickup and delivery was also confirmed earlier in the day along with the cost. Nothing was mentioned of a change in cost or need for increase in the fee. The man on the phone was exceptionally rude stating that he didn't realize how far it was and he couldn't make any money that way. I explained that they had the info for the past 2 days and even called to confirm both the address's and price. Suddenly after 6 PM on a Friday they say they are going to charge double the original quote to have the same original request handled. I explained that they had the info I supplied to them and asked them for a quote of which they are the ones who put the number out there, I did not say "Will you move this furniture for XYZ cost". They set the rate for the moving. I also explained to them that not even giving me one business day's notice is not good business practice and really made me feel like this is shady practice waiting till the last minute and then doubling the price. I then received multiple txt messages again from them stating that I should pay them the extra $$$ (even after I told them I did not want their services) and then going on to insult my new movers. I had to actually request them to no longer contact me or I would need consider it harassment. All I can say is that I very simply wanted to hire a mover and instead felt like my furniture moving was being extorted from me. Proper procedure would have been to call as soon as they had the address and state if there was a problem and what the new cost would be. Instead they confirmed it twice and then waited till the last minute before doubling the cost. Talk about ridiculous.

I called Ray's delivery company after another moving/delivery company called me to cancel just 30 minutes before they were suppose to pick up and deliver an entertainment armoire I bought on craigslist. Ray worked my pick up/delivery into his schedule within 2 hours (on a Saturday afternoon) and did a completely professional job. He and his staff moved it up to my 2nd floor apartment and he even placed and set up the TV, cable, and DVR player in the new armoire and made sure everything was working just as it should be before he left. I've moved many times (prior military moves) and that was a first for me! I will definitely use this company again and recommend them to everyone I know.
