Josh and his team came out to move my personal family. As a real estate agent I come across a lot of movers and I chose them to use my personal house. Probably one of the best choices I made. I will for sure refer them to my clients and feel comfortable finally having a mover I can trust will get the job done and make me look good . Dwayne, Rick, Wendell personally moves us. Ask for em.

Golden Movers is the greatest! I'm a senior move manager and they are my choice to get the job done right. There's never a fear that something will go wrong. They prepare well by getting as much information as they need before the move so they show up with the right materials and equipment--crates for items that need it and blankets for every piece of furniture. The customer service from the office folks is top-notch--they are easy to reach and very responsive. The movers, themselves are the best part. They are well-trained, which is important because its makes them efficient and careful. And their attitude is truly amazing to me. It's hot miserable work but they don't seem to notice. I've been using Golden for over 10 years, working with the same guys now as when I first started. Plus, I used them for my own cross-country move...twice because they only use their guys and their trucks for interstate moves. They don't pass off loads to other haulers or use day labor. Peace of mind.

Well, I just want to start out saying I actually went through Budget movers and came to find out that actually going through reviews of Budget clearly did me no good considering they out sourced to Golden Movers. Let's start from where Golden Movers came into play since I'm reviewing them currently. The first contact I had from them was from Bob. He was a nice guy that knew how to talk to customers and gave great information and answered my questions. I asked many questions. I also let them know that we had a long curvy driveway. He let us know that we needed to have everything ready and packed up for the movers. I told him that we were already setting it up in the garage so it was easier for them to get. So far so good except that I was surprised to hear that he was with Golden Movers and it wasn't actually Budget Movers moving our items. Then a day or two before our items move date I heard from a driver/mover. I received a voicemail from him stating that he's about ready to start heading our way and that he needed to verify the address....then he thought he was off the phone and started cussing up a storm about some computer issues or something of the sort. I thought, hmm this is going to be interesting. I called him back and let him know our address and after a short conversation, I determined he was a rough and gruff guy. I let it go and hoped things would work out because I already had enough to worry about trying to move across the U.S. The next wonderful interaction with this guy was when I received a call from my boyfriend saying that the guy can't make it up to our driveway. Ummm really? I wasn't sure why this should be a problem because golden movers and budget were aware we had a long curvy driveway so "NO" to large flat beds or semi but many other moving trucks have made it up to our driveway so anything else will work. So this guy tells my boyfriend that he can't make it around a tree that's to the right of the driveway but a foot and a half and the left side which had enough wheel space to move over before being off into the grass. We also offered to move a limb that touched the top of the truck if that would help but he didn't want to hear any our helpful suggestions. He was rude and ignore my boyfriend and instantly got on the phone with Bob stating that he can't make it and that they will have to walk the items down to the truck and that he's wanting to approve a WALKING FEE! Really?! First we heard of this type of thing! So anyway my boyfriend offered to start moving the items to the truck to avoid the walking fee of $250. Again, he ignores my boyfriend and just starts doing what he wants to which is to walk the items down. At this time I show up and see what the issue is with getting the truck up. There wasn't any as I could see! I also found out he only tried once and that's it! Seriously guy? So I talked to my boyfriend and got the low down and found out the guy is very rude and wasn't trying to work with us at all. Then my dad showed up and I had previously told him what was going on and he wanted to see if he could help since he is the owner of the house and knows the driveway well and has helped other big trucks up it. He walked down to the main moving guy( there were 2) and just started out by saying something helpful and the guy was all over him cussing at him saying "I don't need anyone telling me how to do my fucking job! Wow! Great customer service guy. So my father was upset and wanted to speak to his superior. I gave him the number and him and I both tried to get a hold of BOB several times to let him know what was going on. Can you believe it?! So at this point, the guys temper and attitude were out of control and he stopped doing most the WALKING making the other poor guy do it all. He was a bigger guy and it was really humid and hot out and you could tell after a bit he was beat! He started dropping our things and I don't blame him because he was the only one working and felt really bad when it happened. Bob finally returned our call a day or 2 later and I had to explain everything and I he said that he would speak with the owner to give us a discount and to not charge us the walking fee. A few days later Bob got back to me and said the owner wouldn't discount but we wouldn't have to pay the walking fee. I feel like more should have been done and that we shouldn't have to pay the walking fee in the first place because a Good driver would have been able to make it no problem and several have before. Also after going through all my things I have found so many broken items and broken brand new plastic totes. Never again. Do yourself a favor and just don't use this company. Plus I wasn't made aware from the beginning that our things would be moving with other peoples items.

Our team from Golden Movers was Scott and Kevin. They were fantastic! They came when they were supposed to, were careful with everything, especially the antique pieces of furniture we were worried about. They delivered on schedule and were exceptionally accommodating about placing furniture and boxes where we needed them. And they are really nice guys! We were 1,100 lbs over the estimate, and expected to get slammed with a huge additional bill; but the added charges were more than fair. We are completely satisfied and couldn't be happier with the service we received from Golden Movers!
